Wood Duck Box with a 3-inch by 4-inch entrance and 1 bag of wood shavings. Comes with placement instructions. Has side opening for observing and easy clean out. Stainless screen on inside of front opening for young birds learning to exit. This house comes with shavings because normally these birds do not bring anything but feathers to the nest. All houses need to be cleaned out before the next season starts. We suggest doing it in the spring so the birds can roost in them during the winter. 24-i

Front view shows some nice detail in the bill, and we can still see the white spur on the shoulder which termininates the gray of the flank. Note the black back, which might make you think of Tufted Duck if the bill were not visible.

Product Description
“Lakeside Wood Ducks”- by Wildlife Artist Randy McGovern. This breath taking Wood Duck with wings stretched out is ready to land among the autumn trees.

Randy is famous for hiding smaller animals within the portraits of larger ones. About 95% of Randy’s art has hidden creatures. This print has hidden wildlife animals in the background. Owner Tom Dinkel talks about the two lakes on the property of Dos Lagos Vineyards, in the Atlas Peak AVA, a sub-appellation of the Napa Valley. The Dos Lagos Vineyards grow Cabernet Sauvignon which is used in Winemaker Robert Foley Claret, as well as in the Dos Lagos Vineyards own label. 2007 is the first release for Dos Lagos Vineyards and is in very limited supply – with only 100 cases produced. As you might expect, the mountain fruit produces a big, rich wine, with wonderful ripe berry, black cherry, and complex minerals supported with soft tannins. www.doslagosvineyards.com

There is a small branch of water that runs through my woods. It is under a power line so it is clear from the air. I have seen ducks in the area so i know they are familiar but i want them to land in and i want more ducks so i can hunt the area in the following years. I know wood ducks fly along the power lines. i have though about baiting the spot in the off season and building wood duck boxes to put along the water. what other ideas could i benefit from????
