How do you tell the difference between hens and drakes in rouen ducks?

I have 6 rouen ducks that are about 2 months ancient and I subdue can’t tell their gender. I know that you have to observe their curled or uncurled tail feathers, raspy and loud quacks, and colour of feet and bills, but it’s all too perplexing. Is there an simpler way to tell, or do I just have to guess? Thanks a lot!

Duck and chicken help…?? ( 20 characters)?

Some duck and chicken questions…….?

Okay, so, I’m going to be getting some ducklings in about three weeks and I am starting to make housing plans.

I was wondering, can I household two ducks and two chickens in the the same pen? Why or why not?

Also, if I get two ducks and raise them from hatchlings, will they subdue be tame and friendly to me, or will they only like eachother?

How much room do 2 ducks and 2 chickens ( together, if possible) need for housing? ~ How many square feet? (is 11′ by 15′ excellent enough?)

Is hog fencing a excellent fencing to use for the pen? ( will it be raccoon proof that way?

How many eggs do two average/normal hens lay a day? ~ If they are healthy.

Thank You Very Much! Many Blessings! :)

DUCKLING HATCHING

I hatch ducklings all year round, they are Aylesbury ducks, bred for egg laying and for the desk. they are free range on the farm. Once hatched the ducklings will rest for an hour or so as it is exhausted from all the hard work. I only want female ducks for egg laying and sell the males, the males make better pets if you have neighbours as they don’t make a lot of noise.. I have been lucky enough to sell my excess male ducks as pets so far!! They live on a Free Range Egg Farm and all the Hens and ducks are treated with kindness, pls do not put comments on my videos with your personal views about eating meat. As I do not come on here all the time, any comments that are put on here to cause any upset to anyone whether Vegetarian or meat eater will be removed, This video is purely for the beauty of mother scenery. thanks to everone who views this and your nice comments..Sue

What is the term called for a bird hatchling trait for recognizing mother?

I think it’s somewhere under the ornithology section.

When a bird hatchling hatches out, they identify the first income thing they see as their mother. Some cases like chickens and ducks take place to have this trait, and that is the factor they often follow their mother around. I also saw some videos previously, where there are ducks and hens mistakenly identify the barn caretaker as their mother as soon as they hatched, and often follow the barn caretaker almost everywhere, except being locked at the coop.

I remember it somehow started with the word “photo- ?” but forgot the remaining last pronunciation for this. Can anyone help me on this term definition and the name of it? Thank you.

(Please do not answer that you do not know if you really don’t know about it.)
