Question by mingosaysss: No one will help the farm ducks in my community, what should i do?
Someone dropped off 3 of there farm ducks, wings clipped and everything, to our local pond. I feel horrible about this because they have obviously been hand raised, and dont know how to live in the wild. Ive called several numbers and no one wants to help.

What is next? I would really like to help these animals out.

It is illegal to allow domestic ducks to live in the wild as they breed with wild ducks and taint the lines. Not good for some of the rare types. If the police aren’t doing anything try to call the animal shelter for a reference to a rescue or sanctuary for abandoned animals.

It as only small about the 2 and a half inches maybe.
It was a kind of mahogany red. More red really. Fairly dark.
It looked soft and fairy sqwidgy (but I didn’t want to touch it)

At first I honestly thought it was some kind of animal liver, becuase that’s what it looked like (or what I think liver looks like)

But we decided to carry on walking and we saw some more. All the same size (ish) same coulor and everything. We must have see about 15-18 on the path all spaced out about 4 feet. They all looked fairly fresh becuase they was still runny and that but they must have been their at least 40mins else we would have seen them on the track.

And we didn’t know what it was. Animal poo? It looked to sloppy. Animal sick? It looked a bit red for that. But we didn’t know what it could be. So I posted this on here.

It was a shame because we didn’t have the camera.

We saw some other animals and here is the list (so you know what was in the area)
we saw a heron
it looked like an otter had been close because we saw loads of oyster shells
we saw what I’m curten was a fox den but it might have been badger.
And loads of little birds and a few ducks.

Please help and take me seriously. Thank you.

P.s if you know any sites with an identification chart or anything that might help me please tell me.

lol, who cares, an animal ate some vegetation and had red poop, it doesnt matter, and if there is a site dedicated to identifying animals through their poop when they are sick, PLEASE someone post a link, so I can laugh at somethign that is a waste

Okay, so, I’m going to be getting some ducklings in about three weeks and I am starting to make housing plans.

I was wondering, can I house two ducks and two chickens in the the same pen? Why or why not?

Also, if I get two ducks and raise them from hatchlings, will they still be tame and friendly to me, or will they only like eachother?

How much room do 2 ducks and 2 chickens ( together, if possible) need for housing? ~ How many square feet? (is 11′ by 15′ good enough?)

Is hog fencing a good fencing to use for the pen? ( will it be raccoon proof that way?

How many eggs do two average/normal hens lay a day? ~ If they are healthy.

I was someone I’m really not. That’s not odd. I had three friends with me, two guys and one girl. We were walking to a observatory at night. A lot of people were. People were telling fortunes there. The moon was out and it was huge and yellow and all mottled.

Randomly, one of the guys stopped walking. He told the girl he loved her. He had a present for her. It looked like a mutilated baby doll wrapped in plastic. We were all good friends in the dream. The girl just shook her head “no” and walked away with the other guy, and I was stuck with the loverboy. I told him it was okay, then went home. He went home, too.

The next part, I wasn’t in, but I saw loverboy go home. His dad was on the couch watching TV. The kid got a knife and stabbed his dad, not saying a word.

There was something floating around his house, too, that the kid did not see. It was this disgusting ghostly, purple-cloaked, melted-metal-faced Halloween creeper. It scared the crap outta me.

I was still his friend because I was a good person. I came to his house with the body on the couch and the purple, metal-face floating around through walls and doors. At some point, the kid skinned himself. He was wearing clothes before, then he started pacing around his house naked, the skin off his chest, back, and butt cleaned off. I was still his friend though, somehow.

The kid decided he wanted to kill the boy who had been with us that night he told the girl he loved her. So he invited a load of kids over. The kids came, and they got a gun and walked outside. I watched through the window all the kids scream and scatter. I watched the kid walk around with the gun. At one point, he turned to the window I was in, forgot who I was, and he aimed.

I had to play duck-for-your-life in the living room. He kept moving to two different windows, had two angles on me. I had to move. I was pretty peed that he was trying to shoot me, after all we went through. I got sick of moving and finally broke in a run for the back door.

I got to the door, and some girls were screaming and banging on it, wanting in. I ran back through the living room and to the bathroom. I began to shut the door, but someone had the handle on the other side. I fought and fought, and finally thought, “FINE! Kill me,” and leggo.

The purple THING had the door on the other side. It patted me on the back. Told me to run.

In the living room, two girls were huddled up. “He’s in the backyard,” they were saying, and we all tried the front door. The girls, for some reason, wanted to steal the front door. I just ran. I ran and ran and ran, down the street (this was the street I lived on) and to a church.

I thought the purple thing was chasing me still, and I had to get in. I pulled on the doors but they wouldn’t open, and I fell on my knees and thought, “God hates me! He won’t let me in!” Then someone inside opened the door and I realized it was a push, not a pull.

I got in and was crying. The father called me up to sit by him, so he could help me get over what happened. Before I could explain what went on, my alarm clock went off.

What kind of crap is this? It gives me the creeps just thinking about that purple thing. Any suggestions. And thanx if you read this far, more thanx if you answer.
Not “they” had a gun. Just the creep in my dream had the gun. Otherwise, there probably would have been more bangs and less screaming.
I’ve had a lot of dreams lately with this sort of gothic, world-ending, death twange. I’m not depressed, but I’m scared alot, I guess.
