I only had a few ducks last chill, a couple were Indian Runner, one Call, and the others were half Runner, half Muscovie. btw, sorry my voice sounds like I have a mouthful of cotton balls lol. The sound card is off and anyone that talks in my videos sounds dreadful like this

The other ducks go about their business. Loop is a hard working mommy. I’m thinking about raising Call Ducks for a 4h breeding pen this year. What can you tell me about them?
How small are they?
What color varieties do they come in?
Do they make nice pets?
I hatched a duckling last spring, and he imprinted on me. Will they do that if I have more then one?
Are they hard to show and hard to keep clean? I’ve shown chickens the past two years.

When do CALL DUCKS lay eggs?
i have four call ducks… two males and two females… i have had them for about seven months and they havent laid any eggs… i know they usually breed in the spring but shouldnt they be having eggs at least everyother day? its pretty cold here in rhode island so im thinking it could just be because its so cold. what age are call ducks supposed to start laying eggs? in the spring should they breed with eachother? do i need to do anything (incubate them) once they lay the eggs or will the mothers sit on their eggs? how many do they usually have?
any information on call ducks would be fantastic along with these questions. thanks

Hi. I live in Louisiana. I’ve been raising ducks for about 8 years now. I would like to raise some Mandarin and Call ducks but can’t seem to find any.
