Ringnecks and buffleheads are diving ducks, not seas ducks. They do not respond well to calls, as they are more attracted to decoys. A call does not hurt though. Many manufacturers produce diver calls. Just google diver calls. Flextone, Faulk, and Mick Lacy are just a few names that come to mind.
It is my understanding that sea ducks can be called with a diver call, but once again they are attracted more to the decoy apply than calling. I have never hunted sea ducks, but I have watched many videos and have rarely seen sea ducks called in to the decoys. Mostly it was just pass shooting.
