Ducks At A Distance

Day in the Life of my Call Ducks

www.ustream.tv 07/01/09 Here’s more of Loopy and her baby, Crumbles and the rest of the gang. Place to some wild composition. Starts out as a silent morning with a songbird singing. Then the day starts. If you have chicken or duck questions, I suggest going to the www.backyardchickens.com forum first. They have a lot of helpful public there.

A friend gave me the composition. I don’t know who it is or what it’s called. It fit though.

Like the white calls. Loopy has a new daughter that is white. She is by now larger so doubtless won’t win any prizes but I don’t show and we like her.

you have such a lovely mix of colours… I reckon Caboose (hope I spelt that right!) is especially gorgeous!! I have 6 calls and I like them to bits but they’re all white like Loopy which makes it slightly more hard to tell them apart from each other sometimes :)

If they are with their mother, they will get oil from her feathers. If not, I reckon it takes several weeks but you could doubtless google for a better answer.
